Beyonce brags about her sexual ability in “Grown Woman,” and she continues on the hook of The-Dream’s “Turnt.” I’m personally not a fan of the whole “beat it up until I black out” line, but you can’t deny Dream’s knack for writing killer tracks. Dream and Beyonce go back and forth over the slow beat, before 2 Chainz comes through with a verse that includes him offering to drink his girl’s bathwater.

IV Play will be released May 28.

B.O.B is constantly walking the line between pop/rock and hip-hop, but this new song, “Headband,” is strictly for his urban fans. It’s a twerk song reminiscent of Travis Porters’s strip club hits. The beat is built around a catchy whistle melody, and the lyrics center around the typical rap topic: sex with a big booty baddie. *sigh* Cliché? Yes, definitely. But, I would be lying if I said I didn’t nod my head a time or two.  2 Chainz pops in for a verse towards the end, too.

“Headband” is the first offering from Bobby Ray’s third studio album Underground Luxury Continue reading

BET held a conference to announce this year’s BET Award nominees moments ago with Chris Brown, Tamar Braxton, Kendrick Lamar and Charlie Wilson announcing this year’s nominees. Drake scored a total of 12 nominations and Chris Brown was announced as one of this year’s performers. Breezy also announced that his new song features Aaliyah…

Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz scored 8 nomination each and Beyonce snagged a nod in the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist category just because. Brandy Norwood her album Two Eleven were ignored, though, which is a real tragedy.

The BET Awards will take place on June 30 and be hosted by Chris Tucker. Continue reading

If you thought Beyonce’s Instagram posts were rrrrratchet, wait until you hear her lines in The Dream’s IV Play song “Turnt.” No, really, Beyonce Knowles-Carter lets the words “beat it up until I black out” leave her lips and I just don’t have the words to express how I feel right now. With the baby rumors swarming fans are starting to wonder if they are ever going to get Detox 2.0. Right now Super Turnt Bey is all we have. Like it or not. Continue reading

Trinidad James in “All Gold Everything” Video

The ATL remix was inevitable.

Trinidad James’ hit “All Gold Everything” is loved by everyone, and now he’s enlisted the help of ATL rappers T.I., Young Jeezy and 2 Chainz for the remix. I’m obsessed with the original version and the remix is a pretty nice enhancement.

I’m sure we’ll be hearing more from James in the near future since he reportedly signed to Def Jam for 2 million. Wooo!

Listen to the remix below and share your thoughts!
