Soundtrack cuts can be cheesy, but Britney Spears’ new song for the Smurfs 2 is pretty good! With summer just around the corner the lighthearted song about wanting to be with that special someone is just what fans need. The four minute dance track feels like a party from beginning to end, with pulsating synths and chant-worthy lyrics. It’s not a new single, but I’ll definitely take this little treasure and hold on to it until we get an official release!

If you liked easy-going songs like “I Wanna Go,” then this is for you. Continue reading

Britney Spears’ eighth studio album will be executive produced by Will.I.Am.

I know I complain about William’s rap skills sometimes, but he’s a pretty good producer so this could be very interesting! According to the Black Eyed Peas star, the collaboration came about following their previous collaborations (“Big Fat Bass” and “Scream & Shout”).

I gotta be the vehicle between her and her fans. We can’t do another song about going on the dance floor. Really? Didn’t we see a bunch of Britney doing that already? Don’t we want to see something that comes from her heart?,” Will.I.Am said.

The album will be released later this year.

Hit Boy, Britney Spears, Waka Flocka & Lil Wayne in “Scream & Shout Remix” Video

The music video for the “Scream & Shout” remix was supposed to premiere on 106 & Park tomorrow, but it’s leaked a little early. The video isn’t anything special, as it shows Will.I.Am, Britney Spears, Waka Flocka, Diddy, Lil Wayne and Hit Boy performing in front of white, grey and black backdrops with limited special effects, for the most part.

Watch for Spears’ ponytail, if for nothing else. Continue reading

Britney Spears is headed to Vegas! Extra confirms that the singer will appear in a show at a Vegas Casino, though details about the specific resort have yet to be revealed.

Rumors about the Vegas show surfaced a few weeks ago and Spears hinted at the confirmation recently on her dog Hannah’s twitter (yes, you read that correctly). I know her fans are “gladney!”

Will.I.Am in “Scream & Shout” Video

Hit Boy and Will.I.Am teased this remix on twitter yesterday, and today it’s been released in full.

Will.I.Am scored another hit with the help of  Britney B****, but of course that’s not enough for them. They want world domination…or something. That’s why the two have teamed up with Diddy, Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka and Hit Boy for the official remix.

There’s a lot of yelling involved and I just don’t know what to think…

Will.I.Am is currently working on his fourth studio album, #willpower, which will be released later this year.

Listen to the remix here and share your thoughts!

Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” is spending its fifth week in the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. That makes the single Bruno’s longest-running song in the top position. The song is also spending a third week at No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart. Prior to that he held on to the spot with “Nothing on You” a  B.o.B. single he was featured on in 2010. Double four-week leads were  made in 2011 and 2010 with “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade” respectively. Continue reading

Even though Britney Spears is hard at work judging The X Factor this fall, that doesn’t mean she’s not thinking ahead to album number 8!  Elijah Blake is working on material for the next Britney record.  Blake is a Grammy nominated writer who worked with Rihanna on her Unapologetic song, “No Love Allowed”. He also is behind Usher’s jam ”Climax” so there’s no telling how this song will end up sounding. Continue reading
