Carly Rae Jepsen in “Curiosity” Video

A while ago Carly Rae Jepsen shot a music for “Curiosity,” but the singer’s camp decided to go with “This Kiss” as the next single and the video was never released. The video has leaked, however, and is sure to make everyone who says Carly Rae should act her age (27) shut up.

In the sultry video, Carly continuously hooks up with a guy only to discover she’s not the only one in the end. If the sexy lingerie shots aren’t enough to convince you that Carly’s a grown woman I just don’t know what will.

Carly Rae Jepsen in “This Kiss”

Carly Rae Jepsen’s debut album Kiss may not be this year’s biggest selling album, but it’s one of my favorite pop albums of 2012. The Canadian star released the music video for her latest single “This Kiss” moments ago and it’s full of fun times and fashionable nods to the 80s. It’s everything you’d expect from a Jepsen video, though ending is pretty predictable :)

Carly Rae Jepsen’s debut album didn’t sell as many albums as many would’ve thought, but the Canadian singer is pressing on regardless! Today Carly released a sneak peek of her third music video. The video features Carly and her friends going out and playing a game of suck and blow (Heyyyyy Solange!).

Carly Rae Jepsen was out and about today promoting the release of her debut album Kiss. The singer stopped by The Ellen Show to talk with about the release and to perform her two singles “Call Me Maybe” and “This Kiss.” Carly made her television debut in the US on Ellen so it’s fitting that she’d also perform “This Kiss” for the first time on the same stage.

It’s embarrassing how much I’m obsessed with this girl! I could’ve done without another performance of “Call Me Maybe,” but still!

It’s hard to believe “Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen is 26. The Canadian singer has become known for her fun pop tunes since being discovered by Justin Bieber and today she released her debut album Kiss. As expected, the album doesn’t show Carly taking any major risks, or straying away from the melodies and beats she’s become famous for.

Kiss isn’t lyrically or musically complex, but it’s full of fun, feel-good tracks and that’s exactly what fans have come to expect from the rising star. Carly has recognized what formula works for her and she’s sticking to it and implementing it every chance she gets.

Carly Rae Jepsen released the tracklists for her album Kiss last weekend and now an album sampler has leaked! If you loved songs like “Call Me Maybe” and “Good Time” then you’re going to LOVE Kiss from the sounds of the sampler. I’ll try not to judge too hard until we get the album in full on September 18, but I’m pretty excited for what’s to come!!!

Owl City (who released a new album earlier this week) and Carly Rae Jepsen stopped by America’s Got Talent yesterday to get the party started! The two danced around the stage and sang their summer hit “Good Time.” I know a lot of people are skeptical about Carly, but I really like her! She’s knows her lane and she’s good at the type of songs she puts out!

Enjoy the performance below! Continue reading
