Ciara’s dancing skills and her new relationship with rapper Future are front and center in her new video. “Body Party” takes place at a house party where everyone from Ludacris to Jazze Pha is in attendance, but Ciara only has her eye on one man. The singer teases Future with sexy dance moves throughout the video. It’s cute, sexy and flirty. This single is really getting me excited for Ciara which will be released July 9. Continue reading

Ciara shows Future her moves in “Body Party.” In a sneak peek that aired on BET’s 106 & Park, the singer and her real life beau appear to be at a house party. Future leans against a pool table while CiCi and her girls perform a sexy dance. The video will air in full on April 22.

It’s really happening this time.
Ciara has been releasing the album tracklisting for her forthcoming, now self-titled album over the last few days via twitter and today the last few songs were revealed. The album will feature 10 songs, including a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and the Future-assisted single “Body Party.” Previously released singles “Sorry” and “Got Me Good” did not make the album. Essentially, Ciara scrapped most of the album and started from scratch.

Update: According to a new press release, Ciara won’t be released until July 9, a month later than the previously scheduled (well, rescheduled) date. The video for “Body Party” will be released on April 22.

In a press release that says Ciara’s latest single “Body Party” is “about more than sex” (yeah, nice try), Epic Records revealed a new release date for the singer’s forthcoming fifth studio album, One Woman Army. Following several stalls, the album will be released on June 4.
I’m beyond tired of waiting for this album, so I really hope there are no more push backs! Ciara will reportedly show off her writing skills with this project so I can’t wait to hear what the unreleased songs sound like.

I have to admit I wasn’t expecting much from this single, but Cici really delivers on “Body Pary,” the new track from her forthcoming album, One Woman Army. The single, produced by Mike WILL Made It, features a sample of Ghost Town DJ’s “My Boo” that will instantly make fans fall in love with the the nostalgic-feeling tune. Ciara’s real-life boyfriend, Future, also makes an appearance on the song, singing ad-libs in the background. Ciara told Billboard the track was inspired by her personal life. Awwwwwww!!!!
One Woman Army is set for a June release.

2012 saw the release of “Sorry” and “Got Me Good,” the first two singles from Ciara’s forthcoming fifth studio album One Woman Army and, though we still don’t have an official release date for the album, CiCi is ready to move on to the next single.
Ciara unveiled the single artwork for “Body Party” moments ago. The artwork shows the singer/dancer posing nude on a bed with nothing but sheets to cover her up and I think it’s safe to assume the song will be just as sexy. Ciara tweeted the lyrics “My Body’s Your Party Let’s Get It Started..” along with the picture.

Ciara is teaming up again with rumored bf Future on the track “Wake Up, No Make Up”. The song is produced by Mike Will and premiered on Atlanta’s V103 (hence the tag). Ciara doesn’t initially sing on the song, instead she raps and then sings a little on the hook. Stream the song here.
Ciara Performs “Got Me Good’ on Jimmy Kimmel
Good performances always have a way of making me like songs. Ciara stopped by Jimmy Kimmel for a lively performance of her single “Got Me Good,” and she dancedd her butt off! I’m still not a fan of the elementary “my back is aching, my bra too tight,” lyrics, but I must admit this was a good performance!

Lord, help us all.
After promoting the show for months like it would be a full tribute to signers like Whitney Houston and Donna Summer, VH1 has announced that ‘VH1 Divas’ will feature performances from singers like Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Rowland, & Jordin Sparks. Listen, I love all of these ladies, but some of them should NOT be involved in such a tribute.
This year’s show will celebrate the dance-inducing music that is the vibrant soundtrack to every major blowout bash, unforgettable party and night out on the town. VH1 is bringing together Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Jordin Sparks to pay homage to the greatest divas of dance music with performances featuring current and classic dance hits.
Adam Lambert (I know, so cute) will host the live show when it airs on Dec. 16 at 9 p.m.
