Demi Lovato’s new single “Heart Attack” wasn’t supposed to premiere for another week, but it’s landed online a little early. The new single is the first offering from her forthcoming fourth studio album and shows the singer going back to her Here We Go Again style. Where her last album had R&B influences, this single is a catchy pop tune about the fear of falling in love. We’ll have to wait and see how the rest of the album sounds, but I like this one!

Demi Lovato Performs During “Christmas In Washington 2012″

Demi Lovato got into the spirit by singing Mariah Carey’s holiday classic, “All I Want For Christmas is You,” recently for “Christmas In Washington 2012.” She managed to maintained vocal control for the most part and it’s actually one of the better performances I’ve seen from her as of lately.

As if the headliners for formerly prestigious shows couldn’t get any stranger. Every year the President and First Lady make an appearance at “Christmas in Washington”, an annual television special that doubles as a benefit for the Children’s National Medical Center. Most of the show features musical performances. This year the line up includes Demi Lovato, Diana Ross, and… PSY. *sigh*

“Christmas in Washington” airs December 21st on TNT.

Demi Lovato sings the National Anthem

Demi’s going live in more than one way this week! Days before the X-Factor live shows began, Demi Lovato sang the National Anthem earlier at the World Series. I’ve always been a fan of Demi’s voice, but THIS performance was pretty painful to watch. Vocally, there was a lot of everything going on and none of it sounded good.

*sigh* I love you still, Demetria. Continue reading

Even with Simon Cowell talking up how great the premiere was along with the addition of new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato, Fox’s The X Factor couldn’t stand up to Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine on NBC’s The Voice in the ratings. In their demo ratings, both shows averaged a 3.3. But in the 8pm hour, The Voice won out, with 3.3 compared with 2.7 for The X Factor.  Continue reading

X-Factor judge Demi Lovato appeared on the VMA pre-show to perform her single “Give Your Heart A Break.” The singer remixed the song in the energetic performance and pranced around the stage with her dancers in a short black dress before hearts began to fall from the sky.
