Carly Rae Jepsen was out and about today promoting the release of her debut album Kiss. The singer stopped by The Ellen Show to talk with about the release and to perform her two singles “Call Me Maybe” and “This Kiss.” Carly made her television debut in the US on Ellen so it’s fitting that she’d also perform “This Kiss” for the first time on the same stage.
It’s embarrassing how much I’m obsessed with this girl! I could’ve done without another performance of “Call Me Maybe,” but still!

Frank Ocean performed on Saturday Night Live last night with an arcade set, and John Mayer as one of his guitarists. The Odd Future singer performed popular song “Thinking Bout You” and the second half of the 10-minute-long “Pyramids.”

Prior to the London Olympics, I had never heard Phillip Phillp’s single “Home” or listened to him perform live. I knew of his health issues, and American Idol victory, but that’s about it.
I’ve been addicted to “Home” all summer, however, thanks to NBC and their Fierce 5 packages during the Olympics, so I was pretty excited when I found out that Phillips had performed the song on Ellen this week. He delivered a solid performance with his band, that I’m sure his fans (old and new) will enjoy.
