No more fist pumping in Seaside after this season. The cast of Jersey Show will not return to MTV after the sixth season, the network reports. Fans might have seen this coming as JWoww, Snooki, and Pauly D already have spin-offs and Snooki just became a mom. Still, it’s going to be odd not being able to watch the cast get sloppy drunk and party every day.

Snooki’s pregnant, so Deena is apparently taking over! Just like her fellow meatball, Deena was arrested last night for public intoxication in Seaside Heights last night. No further details have emerged, but this season seems to be shaping up to be drama filled.
This weekend the crew was involved in a massive bar fight, and Snooki’s pre-pregnant nude photos were leaked.

Snooki revealed today that she is having a boy! Though the reality star previously revealed that she was hoping for a girl, she says that she’s still pretty excited to welcome her first child into the world.
“I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls. It’s still my baby, no matter what. I’m excited either way! As long as it’s healthy that’s all that matters.”
Snooki also revealed that despite her growing belly she doesn’t even feel “pregnant,” just tired. She also promised that she and her fiance Jionni will give the baby a traditional Italian name. They’re reportedly choosing between Jionni Jr. or Lorenzo.
In related news, it’s also been reported that Snook will not live with her fellow castmates in the new season of Jersey Shore. Instead Snooki and Jionni will live nearby as they prepare for the arrival of their first child.

With all of the Jersey Shore attention going to pregnant Snooki, The Situation managed to enter an inpatient treatment center virtually unnoticed recently. If you thought Snooki was going to stop fist pumping with the rest of her “Jersey Shore” cast mates just because she got knocked up, THINK AGAIN!!! MTV just announced that season 6 is a go, and the mommy-to-be will be a part of the cast! But will Snooki live with the rest of her “Jersey Shore” family? Will she continue to party with them? “MTV gets ready for fist pumps and baby bumps,” the statement begins, adding that production is set to start this summer at the infamous abode in Seaside Heights, NJ. “America’s favorite housemates will all return to their home-away-from-home, and the house dynamic is headed into unchartered territory . . .as their lives outside the “Shore” take off in exciting new directions.”
It’s doubtful that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, 22, will actually live with her six pals in the house. Furthers a source: “She’s not going to be staying in the house — no way.”
“If anything, I’ll visit the shore,” she told Us. “I’m not living in that house pregnant. I don’t want to be one of those moms who’s pregnant in a club. It’s disgusting.”
“While things will definitely be a little different this time when they hit the boardwalk, their trademark hilarity and family dysfunction will remain the same,” MTV added.

The cast of Jersey Shore has returned from Italy and is ready for another season full of fights, and fist pumping. Snooki and The Situation seem to be still going at it, and Vinny decides he’s had enough of the Shore and heads home. All the drama and more will begin on January 5.

MTV has decided that after the original cast of Jersey Shore shoots season 5 (after the return from Italy) they will be replaced with a new, much cheaper, cast. My thing is the ratings are just so great with the original cast…why switch it up?
Jersey Shore producers plan to recast the MTV hit, an insider tells the new issue of Us Weekly (out now). “After this group comes back from Italy and shoots season 5 this summer, that will be the end for them.”
The new stars will be “a lot cheaper” (the housemates each reportedly make $100,000 per episode), plus the current gang can feel free to pursue other endeavors. Continue reading
