The newest X Factor US judge, Kelly Rowland, is releasing her fourth studio album Talk A Good Game on June 18. The “Dirty Laundry” singer released the album tracklisting for the project today and, according to the list, the album will feature 12 songs with features from artists like Pusha T and Rowland’s Destiny’s Child sisters Michelle Williams and Beyonce. Based on the singles we’ve heard so far (“Dirty Laundry” and “Kisses Down Low“) I think it’s safe to assume this album will cover a wide variety of topics. Also, is Kelly Rowland putting reusing “This Is Love” or is she doing another song with the same name? Hmmmm. Continue reading
WAIT. WAIT. WAIT!
When Kelly Rowland teased a song named “Dirty Laundry” I thought it’d be like Nivea’s “Laundry Mat,” to be honest. WRONG! Apparently Ms. Rowland was in an abusive relationship while Beyonce was living the life and she’s airing it all out now. The song is one long narrative that feels like the sequel to Destiny’s Child’s “Bad Habit” and “Girl.” Rowland sings about being turned against her sister (Bey) and other friends and family members because of an abusive man.
Whew, child, I was NOT prepared… I’m so glad she touched on something other than sex, though. Continue reading
In sticking with her sexy theme, Kelly Rowland unveiled the album artwork for her fourth studio solo album. The album is lead by a single named “Kisses Down Low,” so it should come as no surprise that Rowland’s giving s.e.x. in the artwork for the new album. Talk A Good Game will be released June 18. Rowland is also heading on tour with The Dream for The Lights Out Tour this summer.
Don’t call it a comeback, but Destiny’s Child is coming together once again, this time as solo artists, for a soulful tune that will be featured on Kelly Rowland’s Talk a Good Game.
“It’s not a Destiny’s Child track, it’s me featuring Beyoncé and Michelle,” she said. Well, OKAY. We’ll take that!
Rowland says this album will be firmly planted in her R&B roots, unlike previous album that featured the singer experimenting with various sounds and genres. The album will also feature rapper Wiz Khalifa and production from Mile WILL Made It (“Kisses Down Low“), The-Dream, Pharrell and more.
Talk a Good Game will be released on June 4.
After teasing the visuals for her latest single “Kisses Down Low” a few weeks ago, Kelly Rowland released the full video today. As promised, the colorful video shows Rowland experimenting with various looks, including a few that are pin-up inspired. Lyrically, the song is pretty raunchy, so I like that she went in a fun direction for the video instead of being predictable and making it overly sexual.
“Kisses Down Low” is the lead single from Rowland’s forthcoming album Talk A Good Game. Continue reading
Fresh off her Super Bowl and award show red carpet domination, Kelly Rowland released a behind the scenes clip from the set of the music video for her new single “Kisses Down Low.” The single is racy in Rowland’s typical fashion, but this time she’s decided to tone the video down and make it playful with a pin-up theme! Ob-vi, Kelly Rowland looks beautiful no matter what she wears so I can’t wait to see the finished product!

Kelly Rowland’s fourth studio album is set to be released later this year, but it will no longer be titled Year of the Woman. Rowland revealed during an interview at the Grammys that the album will now be called Talk A Good Game.
The new title has a more urban feel than the original one, which is fitting considering most of Rowland’s recent success has been with sultry R&B & Hip-Hop songs. She says she recorded 50 songs, some of which feature some “slick stuff” that even she can’t believe she sings.
“Kisses Down Low,” the first single from Talk A Good Game, was released last month.
Kelly Rowland’s newest single “Kisses Down Low” wasn’t supposed to premiere until Monday, but the new single premiered on V-103 this morning so it was only a matter of time before it landed online.
The Mike Will produced track features Kelly’s signature sexy vocals and lyrics.
Kelly is set to hit the Super Bowl stage with Beyonce and Michelle Willams in Feb. Her fourth studio album Year of the Woman will be released later this year.

Destiny’s Child promised a new song yesterday and today they delivered! Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle sing of a “nuclear” love in the new single which will appear on their forthcoming compilation Love Songs. The trio will reportedly perform the single during Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime show.
The song is fun and dance-worthy. The release is perfect for fans who’ve been longing for something new, considering a full reunion is unlikely.

New Beyonce music AND new music from Destiny’s Child?
Not only is Beyonce working on a new album (that is due around April), but Destiny’s Child just announced the release of a compilation album, Love Songs on Jan. 29. In addition to their older material, th album will feature the newly recorded “Nuclear.”
Generally known for their dance floor pop and R&B anthems, Destiny’s Child demonstrate their equally compelling command of contemporary torch songs and ballads throughout Love Songs.
In addition to the new track, “Nuclear,” Love Songs balances romantic, passionate and sensual selections from 1998′s Destiny’s Child (“Killing Time,” “Second Nature”); 1999′s The Writing’s On The Wall (“Now That She’s Gone,” “If You Leave” featuring Next, “Temptation”); 2001′s Survivor (“Brown Eyes,” “Emotion”) and 2004′s Destiny Fulfilled (“Cater 2 U,” “If,” “T-Shirt,” “Love”). Added treats for fans include the Timbaland remix of “Say My Name” (originally released on 2002′s This Is The Remix) and Kelly Rowland’s “Heaven” (a key track from Simply Deep, her 2002 solo album).
