Kevin Hart

This year’s VMAs had the usual interesting moments. Kevin Hart did a decent job as host although his jokes weren’t his best. He still managed to get a lot of laughs. Notably, there was a lack of tributes to Whitney Houston and only a quick tribute to the late Beastie Boys member Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch. There weren’t as many notable moments as there have been in past years, but we have some interesting ones to note, like:

Taylor Swift performing at the 2012 VMAs makes PERFECT sense since the singer has been a huge part of the VMA’s for years now (hey, Kanye) and because she’s preparing to release her fourth album Red in October.

MTV announced this morning that the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” songstress will debut a brand new song for fans during the show.

The VMAs will air on September 6 at 8pm on MTV.

Kevin Hart could seriously talk for a whole hour about watching paint dry and I would more than likely find it hilarious. Nevertheless, he appeared on Jay Leno last night and talked about everything from his children’s “white school,” why he doesn’t party for New Years anymore and why he will never ride a horse again. Pretty funny stuff. Check it out below! Continue reading
