Kim Kardashian has expressed her desire to have a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, based on her role in reality television, but that probably won’t happen any time soon.
A representative for The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has responded to the story and, according to them, they don’t plan on giving any reality celeb a star any time soon.
“Can’t really say if reality stars will ever be eligible. Not on our radar right now. Part of criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmys, SAG Awards, Oscars, etc. in the category of Television, Live Stage Performance or Motion Pictures. They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.”
Welp! Give it time, Kimberly!

Never tell Kim Kardashian that she can’t achieve something. The star heard remarks that some people don’t think reality stars should receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and now she wants to be the girl to break the mold!
I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So, of course I’m so competitive that I think that it would be a huge achievement and a goal that anyone would want. I would love to break that mold.
Technically, reality stars do “act,” but do they deserve a star next to legendary actors?
Kim also hears all the criticism and wants people to think of reality television like rap music. In a recent interview, she reminds people that rap music was frowned up when it first surfaced too.
I’m not naïve to the fact that I’m not a singer or an actress or anything like that. I’ve never claimed to be anything that I’m not. I think [reality] is still a new form of entertainment that was kind of an unexpected thing.
“It reminds me of rap music. When rap music first came out, people were like, We don’t understand this, what is this, it’s just a fad. But rap music is definitely here to stay, and I think reality shows have proven they are as well. But when something is newer, people don’t really understand it.

Kris Jenner recently came under fire for her parenting style when Kim Kardashian revealed that her mother put her on birth control when she was “almost 15.” During pt.1 of Oprah’s interview with the Kardashian’s Kim revealed that she had a boyfriend pretty young and that when she went to her mother about having sex her mother immediately put her on birth control.
Some people are saying that Kris shouldn’t have condoned Kim’s desires to have sex by putting her on birth control but, in a recent interview with Bethenny Frankel, Kris explains that it’s more important to her that her children be safe…especially if they’re going to do it anyway.

Spotted Kimye aka Kanye West and Kim Kardashian holding hands as they headed to Scott Disick’s restaurant opening. Kanye is in good with the family so it comes as no surprise that he would be attending the event. The new couple has the stamp of approval from Kim’s sister Khloe who said Kim all but confirmed the relationship earlier this week with a new piece of jewelry.
“It’s a really good friendship that went into dating. She wore the KW earrings, that pretty much confirmed that!”
