Ryan Seacrest revealed the lineup for this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival moments ago and it’s a pretty good one!
This year’s festival will includes sets from Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Usher, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Paramore, Lorde and more!
The iHeartRadio Music Festival will take place in Las Vegas on Sept. 19 and 20. Tickets for both days go on sale to the public this Saturday, July 26.
The lineup comes just days after the first round of iTunes Festival performers were announced.
The most important news here, however, is that new music from Taylor Swift is likely right around the corner.

“Love” can make you toss pride aside and do/say some pretty crazy things. This often sounds much better sonically than it looks, though. Think about it, if Robyn was really dancing alone in the corner of a club in an attempt to catch her old beau making out with his new love it would be pretty pathetic. But, when this concept is put to music it turns into a relatable tune filled with heartbreak and desperation.
Today’s Valentine’s Day post is all about the people who are willing to do anything to win their lover’s affection. If you’re thinking about texting your unresponsive ex for the twentieth time today, pres play on this playlist and know your favorite artists can probably relate. Continue reading
Being a grown up doesn’t always about making serious decisions. Sometimes it’s about riding around in a convertible with your best friends and happily smashing a room full of vinyls. At least that’s what Paramore seems to think.
The trio set out to break the most records in a music video in the visuals for their single “Ain’t It Fun.” In total, the group set 10 world records while filming the video, including most vinyl records broken in one minute and longest scream while riding in a convertible.
The original video for “Ain’t It Fun” was shot last year, but the trio decided to scrap it after deciding they didn’t like the direction. Continue reading
Paramore and Fall Out Boy are joining forces and going on tour this summer!
Paramore toured for most of 2013 after releasing their self-titled album at the beginning of the year and Fall Out Boy also had a pretty busy year after releasing Save Rock & Roll, their first album since 2008. Now, the two bands are teaming up for the “Monumentour!”
In a video uploaded to YouTube, the bands announced plans to tour together by combining their logos and walking together in slow motion. Paramore’s bassist Jeremy Davis just returned from paternity leave after he and his wife welcomed their first child, a daughter. Davis was clearly still out when this promo clip was shot, as Williams is seen running to pick up “Cardboard Jerm” towards the end of the video.
Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Jan. 17 at 10 a.m.
Check out the long list of summer tour dates below! Continue reading
I’ve been pretty fond of 2013 and the singles that were released. From comeback singles to sleeper hits, artists were able to churn out some pretty noteworthy releases, for the most part.
There were 15 songs that stood out to me as the top singles of the year. From Justin Timberlake to Drake, find out what made the list and how they ranked below!!
Let’s face it, end of the year lists aren’t factual. As much as we’d all like to think they are, in reality they’re just heavily weighted opinions. And they are stressful. Honestly. The only thing more stressful than asking me to name my favorite album/song of the year is asking me to name my favorite album/song of all time. People who are able to do this effortlessly should not be trusted. It is as simple as that.
Anyway, it was a struggle, but I think I was finally able to pinpoint the 15 albums that I loved the most from this year. Continue reading
One week into 2013 I posted a list of albums (seen above) that I was looking forward to. The list featured 10 albums that had the potential to be some of the best releases of the year, if they lived up to the hype. With just a few more weeks until 2013, many of the albums I anticipated haven’t even been released and others ended up being huge disappointments. Still, there were a few albums that lived up to their hype and even exceeded my expectations.
I revisit the list below! Continue reading
Paramore is currently traveling for the Self-Titled Tour, but they’ve managed to carve out some time for a little promo, too. The trio stopped by Good Morning America this morning to perform their hit single “Still Into You.” Lead singer Hayley Williams always performs this song with high-energy kicks and passionate vocals, but this may have been my favorite performance of this song thus far. She sounded amazing!
Earlier this week the band released the music video for another track from their self-titled fourth studio album. “Daydreaming” shows two fans traveling to London to see the band live.
Watch the Good Morning America performance and “Daydreaming” music video below! Continue reading
Paramore performed their latest single “Still Into You” last night at the Teen Choice Awards with the help of a few ballerinas and some giant balloons. The band’s lead singer Hayley Williams debuted longer bangs, but a shorter haircut in general as she jumped and kicked around the stage during the high energy performance.
It was a performance that surely made Paramore fans proud.
The Teen Choice Awards covers movies, television and music, but you can see the music winners from last night’s show below! Continue reading
Earlier this year Paramore toured in support of their self-titled fourth studio album with Kitten (my concert review is here), but the band is preparing to go back on tour in North America starting October 15 for ‘The Self-Titled Tour’ with Metric and Hellogoodbye. Paramore announced the tour yesterday on their blog and tickets are already available for pre-sale for members of The Paramore Newsletter. I would suggest buying tickets this way since you are automatically entered into a lottery for Meet & Greet and Early Entry. Unfortunately I didn’t get Meet & Greet when I saw the band earlier this year, but I did get Early Entry, which was pretty cool! If you’re not a member, tickets go on sale Friday, July 26 at 10 a.m. local time. The band will be playing at bigger venues this time around (including Madison Square Garden) so I’m expecting the show to be bigger and better than ever! Continue reading
