A week ago John Legend dropped “The Beginning” in order to get fans talking about his forthcoming album and today he dropped the official first single, “Who Do We Think We Are.” Like “The Beginning,” the new single is built on a sample (Jean Knight’s “Mr. Big Stuff”). The soulful tune features a verse from rapper Rick Ross towards the end that gels perfectly with the nostalgic vibe . “Who Do We Think We Are” is the first single from Legend’s forthcoming album Love in the Future

Rihanna, who is currently touring for her Diamonds World Tour, dropped the rap heavy remix for her single “Pour It Up” earlier today and it’s everything you’d expect: drug and sexual references from the likes of Young Jeezy, T.I., Juicy J (who HAD to be featured since this song is pretty much the female version of “Bandz A Make Her Dance”) and Rick Ross.
It’s not amazing, but it’s fitting. Now if only we could get the video.
