During a show for Boston’s Kiss 108 “Heart Attack” singer Demi Lovato performed a cover of Rihanna’s hit single “Stay.” Demi clearly has the vocal ability needed to perform the song, but the cover lacked the emotion and heartache that fans are use to hearing when Rihanna performs the song. Still, it’s worth a listen! Continue reading
Sometimes releasing an emotional ballad about the hardships of your personal love life comes in handy. Rihanna’s latest Unapologeticsingle, “Stay,” landed at the top of the Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay chart this week, setting a new record for the most number one singles in the chart’s 20-year history. Scoring 10 number one singles since 2006, “Stay” helped RiRi surpass her BFF Katy Perry’s record of nine chart topping songs.
Take a look back at Rihanna’s number 1 singles below! Continue reading
Rihanna, who is currently touring for her Diamonds World Tour, dropped the rap heavy remix for her single “Pour It Up” earlier today and it’s everything you’d expect: drug and sexual references from the likes of Young Jeezy, T.I., Juicy J (who HAD to be featured since this song is pretty much the female version of “Bandz A Make Her Dance”) and Rick Ross.
It’s not amazing, but it’s fitting. Now if only we could get the video.
“Pour It Up” is featured on Rihanna’s seventh album Unapologetic, which is in stores now. Continue reading
Rihanna’s not feeling well!
The Barbados singer kicked off her Diamonds World Tour a few days ago in Buffalo, but the singer was forced to postpone her Boston show because she has Laryngitis. Following the announcement, Rihanna took to twitter to let fans know she’s just as disappointed as they are!
Hopefully a little rest and time off will allow her to get well! Postponed shows are the worst!
Rihanna is scheduled to perform in Baltimore on Tuesday.

Glambert gets emotional!
Following Rihanna’s tender Grammy performance and the release of the intimate music video, Adam Lambert put his stamp on “Stay” by covering it himself during a show in South Korea.Lambert is known for his powerhouse vocals, but he kept things simple during this cover, which is definitely a part of its appeal.
Check it out below and let me know if you love it as much as I do! Continue reading
The video debuted on E! and, as promised, features a simple, intimate bathtub scene. Mikky Ekko also makes an appearance in the video for his verse.

Rihanna took the stage with Mikky Ekko at the Grammys for an emotional performance of her latest single “Stay.” It was just as lovely as her SNL performance of the song, but I was most impressed when she took the stage to pay tribute to Bob Marley.
Following an awesome performance from Bruno Mars and Sting – the two performed Mars’ “Locked Out Of Heaven” and The Police’s “Walking On The Moon – Rihanna joined the guys on stage with Ziggy & Damien Marley, Bob Marley’s sons, for an energetic performance of “Could You Be Loved.”
It was a short tribute, but it was so very sweet! Definitely one of my favorite performances from the night! Continue reading
