Ariana Grande performs on Saturday Night Live

Ariana Grande made her debut on Saturday Night Live last night and she brought The Weeknd along for the ride.

For her first song, “Break Free,” Grande sported her now signature cat ears and thigh-high boots. The singer focused on singing, sitting down for the first half of the performance before joining her backup dancers for the remainder of the Zedd-produced EDM hit.

She brought out The Weekend during her second performance to perform their collaboration “Love Me Harder,” one of the standout cuts from her sophomore album My Everything.

This era’s releases and performances are definitely proving that Grande is a mainstay in pop music. Continue reading

Justin Bieber’s fans may be having meltdowns across the world right now, but there is one thing to smile about: the singer will host and perform on Saturday Night Live on Feb. 9!

The singer tweeted a hint to fans, and Billboard has confirmed the news!

Justin Bieber is preparing to release his second acoustic album Believe Acoustic on Jan. 29 so I’m guessing his performances will be acoustic.

Ne-Yo promo pic – Island Def Jam

It was just announced that Ne-Yo will be the musical guest on the December 8th episode of Saturday Night Live. It’s safe to assume he’ll be singing songs from R.E.DBy that time he might  (read: should ) even have a new single out. This will be the first time Ne-Yo’s been on the show, which airs on  NBC at 11:30pm.

Nate Ruess of fun. on SNL

fun. gave two energetic performances on Saturday Night Live last night. If I’m being honest the “Some Nights’ performance was a bit too bouncy, but “Carry On” was just right.

I’m going to see these boys live next year and so I’ve been watching their performances online like crazy! Check out the SNL set below! Continue reading

Rihanna & Adam Levine in “If I Never See Your Face Again” video

Okay, they’re not performing TOGETHER, I just love that video…don’t you?

Let the promo begin! Rihanna’sUnapologeticis only weeks away from being released on Nov. 19 and the star is finally lining up some tv promo to get fans excited! The Barbados pop star will perform on Saturday Night Live 9 days before her album is released on Nov. 9. Rih will more than likely sing her new single “Diamonds” and hopefully some new material as well.

Maroon 5 will also hit the SNL stage on Nov. 17.

Part of hosting SNL means appearing in promo for the show. With Bruno Mars as host for this week’s show, he appeared in a seires of commericals for Saturday Night Live alongside cast member Fred Armisen. In some there’s simply banter between Bruno and the Fred. In another he’s jamming on a guitar, and in another one Bruno The Host get some smack talk from Bruno The Musical Guest.

Check out the promo reel below!

Bruno’s not playing with promo!

On October 20th, Bruno Mars will not only host Saturday Night Live on NBC, but do double duty as musical guest. His new single “Locked Out of Heaven”  from his upcoming album Unorthodox Jukebox is set to premiere today. It’ll be interesting to see how Mars can hang with the SNL crew.

Frank Ocean performed on Saturday Night Live last night with an arcade set, and John Mayer as one of his guitarists. The Odd Future singer performed popular song “Thinking Bout You” and the second half of the 10-minute-long “Pyramids.”

As usual, Frank appeared a bit shy as he sang and wore his typical black and white bandanna, but I still enjoyed the performances.

Check them out below and share your thoughts!! Continue reading

Frank Ocean will perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend (9/15) but the singer revealed some exciting news about the performance today on twitter. Frank will be joined by John Mayer during the televised performance. John is on vocal rest right now, so I’m sure he’ll play guitar, but what song do you think the two will do together?

This just got even more exciting!
