The latest from DJ Khaled is filled with big anthems made for hype. The heavy beats and extensive features make this a typical rap/hip-hop record but fits into the current scene. Features aren’t a bad thing–would it really be a DJ Khaled record without features from major rappers? 2 Chainz makes an appearance on “I Don’t See ‘Em” with his signature style. “Take it to the Head” features smooth vocals from Chris Brown, switching the album to a more R&B vibe.
It’s not all party anthems, T-Pain lends himself to “I’m So Blessed” which celebrates life and success because of God. Friends are celebrated on “I Did It For My Dawgz” and enemies challenged on “I Wish You Would”. And Kendrick Lamar helps close the album on “B-Boyz”, putting the album on a higher level.
Kiss The Ring is a collection of hip-hop champions who deliver songs about their expertise in their business of the genere. They all serve a purpose and they all do it well.
Chris Brown’s Fortune is currently streaming on Itunes for fans to hear before it’s released next week (July 3), but today a new track that didn’t make the album leaked. “Get Down,” features some aggressive verses from Chris, a catchy hook from T-Pain and a flashy verse from Bobby Ray.
Oh, and Chris Brown reuses his “doggy want the kitty” line from “Birthday Cake (Remix) just for kicks and giggles.

Bow Wow released the music video for his new single “Better” today. The video for the T-Pain assisted track shows a stripper who wants more for herself, but has to deal with all her co-workers negative remarks.
It’s an interesting twist to the typical stripper video. Watch below and share your thoughts!!! Continue reading
It’s pretty easy to forget that Bow Wow is releasing a new album in just a few months. The rapper hasn’t had a huge hit or any major promotion behind the new project, but he’s hoping to end all of that with the release of two new singles. Today we received the first single, “Better,” featuring T-Pain. Bow Wow utilizes auto-tune on the slow-tempo track about a hot girl who has to deal with all the haters. When I heard this song I immediately thought “he wrote this for Angela!” Take a listen below and let me know what you think about it! Continue reading
As The MF Life release date (March 20) draws nearer we’re receiving more and more music from the album. A few days ago I posted the newly released “Rock, Paper, Scissors,” and now we have “This Time” which features J.Cole. I still haven’t heard a track that I love more than “4 AM,” but I’m still pretty excited to hear the album as a whole. Listen to “This Time” below!!
UPDATED: Also listen to 6 AM ft. T-Pain below!!!
T-Pain is finally releasing new material, and this time with the help of Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen. I’m not too sure if I like this here sample, but i’m glad T-Pain is making a comeback.
The F.A.M.E. tour will kick off in Toronto on September 12. Chris Brown, Tyga, T-Pain, and Kelly Rowland….what an interesting combination. Will you be attending? Continue reading

I’ve always liked Trina (even though her music can be a bit much for me sometimes) so when I heard she had a new song I was pretty excited to see how it sounded. The track Ghetto, which features T-Pain is the first song off of Trina’s upcoming mixtape Diamonds Are Forever…
After listening to only the first 30 seconds of this song there is no doubt in my mind that I am the farthest thing from Ghetto…and that’s fine.
What did you guys think about the song?
