The Ellen Degeneres Show
I can’t even walk down the steps without falling, but Kiesza performed her breakout hit “Hideaway” on The Ellen Degeneres Show walking up AND down stairs and through the aisles in the audience effortlessly. I’m a bit jealous, obviously.
The “Giant In My Heart” singer not only brought the viral one-take dance video to life throughout Degeneres’ studio, but she also added some new fun dance moves into the mix.
If you weren’t addicted to this song before, this should certainly do the trick.
Kiesza will release her debut album Sound of a Woman on Oct. 21. Continue reading
Jhene Aiko stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show to perform her Sail Out hit single “The Worst” earlier today. The singer swayed along to the popular song and delivered an improved vocal performance compared to previous live show tapings.
The highlight of the performance wasn’t Aiko, though. It was her band. A string section and a guitarist that veered of course to incorporate melodies from two oldies towards the end of the song, added a fresh vibe to the popular song.
Aiko is scheduled to release her Def Jam debut album later this year.

Sia appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show today to perform her latest single “Chandelier.”
The singer-songwriter, who as of recently does not like to face the audience during performances, stood in the corner of the stage, which was recreated to look like the home in the music video for the single. Dance Mom’s Maddie Ziegler recreated the choreography from the viral visuals as Sia sang the vocally challenging songs. The performance wasn’t perfect vocally, but that only added emphasis to the song’s lyrics. You try sounding perfect when your life is out of control and you’re metaphorically swinging from a light fixture. Hmphh.
“Chandelier” is the lead single form the singer’s forthcoming album 1000 Forms of Fear. Continue reading
Ariana Grande’s new single is a MAJOR problem. We won’t know for sure until tomorrow, but forecasts show that the lead single from the young star’s forthcoming sophomore album sold 425,000 copies in it’s first week.
Grande has already performed the new song at two awards shows (Radio Disney Music Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards) and today she stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show to belt out the catchy song for a third time.
It’s no wonder Rihanna couldn’t stop giggling at the star’s performance during the iHeartRadio Music Awards. She looks so adorable when she dances! Continue reading
Pharrell stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show recently and performed his latest G I R L single “Come Get It Bae.” Miley Cyrus wasn’t there to perform her part of the catchy song, unfortunately, but Pharrell still seemed to enjoy himself and with the help of his backup dancers and singers, he was able to deliver a solid performance.
I can’t wait to see the music video for this single. I know it’s going to feature crazy fashion from Pharrell and some controversial moves from Miley Cyrus! Continue reading
Toni Braxton & Babyface make hurting feel (and look) so good! The duo appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show recently to perform their Love, Marriage & Divorce single “Hurt You” together. The album finds the two artists singing about their experiences with falling in and out of love with a spouse and “Hurt You” perfectly encompasses all of those emotions.
As far as the performance goes, the two looked and sounded good! The best thing about this performance is how much fun they seem to be having together. Their energy is definitely contagious. Continue reading
Tamar Braxton stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show today (Jan. 8) to sing her latest Love & War single “All The Way Home.” The singer has been pretty vocal about her recent vocal issues, which have been affecting her performances, but she actually sounded pretty good during this one! Braxton looked confident as she sang the powerful love song, slung her hair and shook her shoulders.

Lea Michele stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show recently to talk about her late boyfriend Cory Monteith and perform her new single “Cannonball.” Michele definitely delivered a solid first performance of the inspirational, Sia-penned single.
Demi Lovato stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently to promote her Neon Light Tour with a performance of her latest single. “Neon Lights” features some powerhouse vocals from Lovato, so I was worried about how the song would sound live, but the X Factor judge pulled it off!
Lovato will tour with Fifth Harmony and Little Mix starting in February. Continue reading
Drake stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday to promote his new album Nothing Was The Same with a performance of “Hold On We’re Going Home.” Drizzy was joined by Majid Jordan for the performance, which featured some shaky vocals and Diddy-like shoulder dancing.
