Didn’t snag tickets to one of Beyonce and Jay Z’s “On the Run” concerts in person? No worries.
The married couple’s joint tour is coming to HBO this September and at least this way you won’t have to abandon your car blocks away from the arena minutes before the show stars due to heavy traffic. Just turn on your TV and relax.
The special will be shot on Sept. 12 and 13 at the Stade de France during the Paris shows.
Both Beyonce and Jay Z have aired specials on HBO in the past. Aside from the singer’s 2013 Life is But a Dream documentary, a 10-episode concert series, Beyonce: X10, is currently running.
Jay z debuted Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film on the channel last year.
J. Cole celebrated the 5 year anniversary of The Warm Up yesterday with a MTV Special, The Warm Up: 5 Years Later. Additionally, Cole released new dates for the Dollar & a Dream tour AND unveiled the music video for “Lights Please.”
Shot back in 2008, the previously unreleased video shows Cole arriving at a girl’s house before taking things to her bedroom. He tries to have deep conversations about life with her, but she’d rather have sex, so he obliges.
Before Cole premiered the video, he told Sway that the song didn’t become a radio hit but it is still a fan favorite at live shows. He’s right. I saw him earlier this year at Counterpoint Music Festival and, while his entire set was much liver than I expected, “Lights Please” definitely got the crowd super excited.
Cole’s tour will stop in London, NYC, Miami, Raleigh, Chicago and Los Angeles during the month of July and it is definitely worth the $1 admission cost. Continue reading

In the tradition of girl groups it seems Danity Kane may have lost another member. The group originally consisted of five members, but when the girls reunited last year it was announced that D. Woods would not be a part of their new projects. Now, it seems Aundrea Fimbres may be out, too.
The girls teased what appears to be a new single titled “Lemonade” on their social media accounts, but the image only features three girls. The picture shows three little girls that appear to be posing as Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard and Shannon Bex at a lemonade stand. Rumors that Aundrea was leaving the group have been swirling for a while now and this image seems to confirm that.
