Sometimes I can be late on things, so I thought I’d somehow missed the fact that Avril Lavigne and Nickleback’s lead man Chad Kroeger were dating, but apparently NO ONE KNEW!
Another shocker, People is reporting that the couple of six months got engaged earlier this month when Chad proposed to Avril with a 14-carat diamond ring! The two allegedly began dating earlier this year when they were writing together in the studio.
This will be Chad’s first marriage and Avril’s second as she was previously married to Sum 41′s Deryck Whibley. She was also in a very public relationship with The Hill’s Brody Jenner.
