Just as we thought, the divorce precedings were quick. Evelyn Lozada filed for divorce from Chad less than a month after they married, and despite protests on Twitter and a tattoo testimony, Chad filed himself last week. The divorce followed an incident of domestic violence that occurred in early August. Evelyn even suggested that wasn’t the first incident of violence between the two. Lozada’s lawyer released a statement confirming the news:
Evelyn and Mr. Johnson were divorced this morning in an uncontested final hearing. My client is a single woman and looks forward to her future.
