Although Dawn Richard’s new album GoldenHeart was set for release October 16th, it’s now pushed back quite a bit. She tweeted a video message to her fans (“Hearts,” as she calls them) announcing that she signed a distribution deal with Altavoz Distribution that would allow her new record to be available all over:
We have just signed with Altavoz Distribution, which will allow us to have the record GoldenHeart in every store—from Best Buy to Target to the mom and pop stores. This is exactly what we needed to expand the brand. It’s a movement…it’ll be distributed all over the world.
In the message, Dawn says the record is done, but distribution means fans will be able to get a physical copy of GoldenHeart in their hands, so that’s good news. The official press release posted from Dawn’s blog gives a release date of January 15, 2013. That’s next year y’all!
