For days now people have been speculating about Frank Ocean’s sexuality and I have refused to post anything because unless it came from his mouth I wasn’t going to speculate. The rumors began because apparently some of the songs on Frank’s upcoming album Channel Orange reference a “he” instead of a “she.” IN MY OPINION that’s not enough to out someone because I’ve heard several heterosexual artists do this before.
Hearing all of the speculation Frank Ocean decided to tell his story via tumblr. Yes, he fell in love…with a man. The thing is love is love and if you were to change around the pronouns in his story I’m sure EVERYONE can relate to his feelings. So before you read place your judgements aside. If anything, be grateful that a man in such a homophobic society felt comfortable enough to share his story with all of us.
