Ever transparent, Lady Gaga has gone beyond media criticisms about her weight and tweeted a link to her fansite and revealed (along side a picture of herself in a bra and panties) that she has been struggling with eating disorders since she was a teen. She simply captioned the picture “Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15.” The tweet to the image invites fans to “join A BODY REVOLUTION”.
But Gaga’s post wasn’t just a direct response to media criticisms on her weight. The image was the first of 3 where the “BODY REVOLUTION” she speaks of is part of the goal of her Born This Way Foundation. The other shots continue the invite to join the revolution, saying “But today I join the BODY REVOLUTION to Inspire Bravery and BREED some M$therf*cking COMPASSION.” (sic)
