Maroon’s change into pop has been seamlessly effortless. With hits like “Moves Like Jagger” and “Payphone” it’s hard to remember that they used to make songs like “Harder To Breathe” and “Secret.”
The latest song from the band’s upcoming album hit the web last night. The piano-driven “Wipe Your Eyes” is a comforting lullaby to the one you love, but can’t seem to stop arguing with. “Cry, because I’m here to wipe your eyes,” Adam sings as the drums kick in.
Old Maroon 5 fans may not be too crazy about it, but their new fans will eat this one up. Listen below.
