I was JUST saying how badly I needed a follow up to Rob Thomas’ Cradlesong, but a new album from Matchbox Twenty is even better! The band announced this morning that they will release their fourth studio album North (their first full length album in ten years) on September 4. The album’s first single, “She’s So Mean” will be released in June. Find out what the band had to say about the album’s title below!!!
“The title refers to us finding our way. We went into this record with a lot of material. Many different songs that could have taken us in many different directions. It sort of overwhelmed us for a bit. But, at a certain point, we figured it out. We figured out where ‘North’ was.”
