Out of respect for the tragic Aurora, CO theater shooting at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises, Warner Bros. is not releasing the film’s weekend grosses. Other studios and Box Office Mojo have followed suit.
Still, information has leaked that The Dark Knight Rises grossed $162 million, which despite the circumstances is the 3rd largest opening ever.
