The Country Music Awards are one of many award shows exclusively dedicated to recognizing the achievements of artists in the country music industry. Tonight there were tears and laughs. For the fifth time Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley hosted, and spoofed the Maroon 5/Christina Aguilera hit “Moves Like Jagger”. Kelly Clarkson partnered up with Vince Gill to perform her new single “Don’t Rush“, and The Voice judge Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert won for their song “Over You“. The acceptance was tearful, as the song is about Blake’s brother who passed as a teen.
